A New School Year – A New Blog

An image of an open book with different format labels floating above it

Are you ready to unlock new ways to support learning with accessible formats? As a new school year begins, so does our exploration of AIM-VA’s file formats. This blog will guide you through the options of file formats that you can request through AIM-VA.

Each month, a different file format will be highlighted. The features that make that format unique will be shared by:

  • providing a sample
  • looking at the key accessibility features
  • looking at compatible programs that the format works with
  • providing some practical teaching strategies for using that file format

As the months progress, the chart below will be completed. By the end of the year, you will have a comprehensive understanding of the different file formats that you can order to support your students.
